Catherine Eadle

 

Catherine set up The Little Maths Room in 2017 and is a specialist dyscalculia maths tutor. She is passionate about maths and in particular helping learners who find maths challenging, have additional needs, have lost confidence or need extra support.

 

 

Catherine graduated with a BEd (Hons) in Teaching from Oxford University. She was trained by and worked with the late Dorian Yeo (leading expert, author and lecturer in teaching pupils with maths difficulties) and holds the Certificate in the Teaching of  Mathematics for Specific Learning Difficulties. 

 

 

Dorian Yeo's work inspired Catherine to become a specialist maths teacher and she has been working to enthuse, encourage  and nurture pupils development for the past 20 years. Catherine's unique approach and unrivalled experience ensures all pupils make excellent progress and enjoy learning.

 

 

Over the last 18 years Catherine has worked at both boys and girls independent schools as a teacher and Head of Maths. She has completed many courses in teaching maths and teaching pupils with additional needs in maths and is a highly respected  and sought after maths practitioner. 

 

Catherine is co-founder of The Dyscalculia Network and is on the BDA Dyscalculia Committee. She is co-author, with Steve Chinn of a new series of worksheet books for all ages, 'Succeed with Dyscalculia'. 

 

Catherine is DBS (CRB) checked (2022), has up to date Safeguarding training (2022) and is fully insured.
